WINTER HOUSE LEAGUE PROGRAM
MVP, in partnership with Mountain Volleyball Club, runs a seven week winter house league program starting in January 2025
2025 WINTER HOUSE LEAGUE registration is now open
The Winter Program will be a seven week session for grades 3 to 8 (combining skill development and stressing more game play).
SESSIONS RUN: Sunday January 19 and 26, February 2, 9, 16 and 23 and March 2. from 9:00am to 11:00am at St Mary’s Catholic Secondary School, 200 Whitney Ave in Hamilton. this program will offer an hour of instruction and an hour of play

Athletes will be accepted on a first come first serve basis with limited enrollment.
We expect the programs to fill quickly. Payment will be due within a week of athletes receiving notification of accepted registration in the fall program
We are expecting another fantastic group of athletes and with an excellent staff of experienced coaches once again it will be a great developmental program. MVP Programs, sponsored by Hamilton Pediatric Dental Care are staffed with NCCP certified coaches, participants in the CAO’s Coach2Coach program for coaching excellence and members of the Mountain Volleyball Club Coaching Program! The MVCCP program is recognized province wide and has recently been the recipient of a Canadian Tire Jump Start Grant aimed at teaching passionate young women athletes to become community and club coaches.

MVP Winter House League has a strong focus on skill development and using these skills in competitive game play. Athletes will continue to develop their physical literacy skills important for volleyball (and all sports) through their access to our high performance equipment.
social development
Our MVP Winter House League offers a combination of rule-games, teamwork, collective energetic enjoyment, mixed age groups and the spirit of competition and play! Athletes in this co-ed program will have the opportunity to participate in practice and game situations while developing social skills through peer interaction
superior coaching staff
All of our coaching staff are certified NCCP coaches or in the process of acquiring their coaching certification through the MVCCP Coaching Program or the National Coaching Certification Program.
